Refrigerator /  Freezer

   If your refrigerator is not cooling like it should or your freezer is thawing your frozen foods give us a call and we will schedule a technician to be out at your home as soon as possible.   If you have ice building up behind your refrigerator or freezer you need service from The Appliance Genius LLC.

Ovens

  Is your oven temperature set at 350 but its not nearly as warm as it should be? Are your delicious pies and cakes coming out burnt because your oven temperature is too high? When you give us a call to set your service appointment we will have a technician on his way to get you back to baking those delicious pies and cakes. 

  Most ovens have an interior light. Oftentimes, the bulb has been burned out for so long you may not even realize that you have one. The light bulb is usually behind a small glass dome near the upper left or right side of the inside of the oven. Our technicians are here to help you get your appliance running to its full potential.

     Maintenance:

• Replace burned out bulbs
• Check calibrations and regulate if needed
• Calibrate temperatures on oven
• Adjust gaskets / hinges to seal properly

Stove/Range

  If you’re wondering whether we have ever repaired a stove that’s 20 years old not to worry! Dishwasher

   We repair broken and rusted dishwasher racks. If the plastic coating wears off the dish rack tines in your dishwasher, they will corrode and rust. The rust particles will then get into the pump and cause much more serious problems. We offer repair and service for all your dishwasher problems. Over time, small holes in the spray arm(s) of your dishwasher may become clogged with bits of paper, toothpicks, glass, etc.

• Get rid of the GROSS WHITE FILM on your dishes
• Clean your dishwasher filter.
• Clean your dishwasher spray arms.

Washer /  Dryer 

   We check washer water fill hoses for cracks, blisters, corroded fittings and leaks. Cracks are a sign of aging and a breakdown of the rubber. Blisters signal a rupture in the inner lining of the hose, which means the hose may burst at any time. We also check the fittings to see if they're corroded which mean the hose has leaked or is leaking now. If we don't replace the hose, you may find the corroded fitting is virtually impossible to remove from the faucet when you need to remove it. Washer water fill hoses generally need to be replaced every 3-5 years, regardless of whether there is a visible defect.  

   Dryer lint build up is the leading cause of dryer failures, and it often causes drying times to increase dramatically. Lint build up is also responsible for thousands of house fires a year.

Ice Maker
